ABOUT THE ROLE

We're North Co Commercial Cleaning, hiring for a retail store owned by a national home goods retailer. Store name and exact address are shared after onboarding. This is steady, recurring work — same store, same day, every time.

SCHEDULE & PAY STORE CLEANING

— Weekly

• $60 flat per visit
• Tuesdays — arrive 7:45 AM, 8:00 AM start
• First visit: Tuesday, September 22
• Average time on site: 1-1.5 hours (could be a little less or a little more depending on experience and getting a system down after the first couple visits)
• Effective hourly: roughly $40
• 60/hr

WINDOW CLEANING

— Monthly

• $70 flat per visit
• First level only — no ladders above the entry area
• Every 4th Tuesday of the month — arrive 7:45 AM, 8:00 AM start
• First visit: Tuesday, September 22
• Average time on site: 45 min-1 hour (could be a little less or a little more depending on experience and getting a system down after the first couple visits)
• Effective hourly: roughly $70
• 93/hr

DEEP CLEAN

— Twice a year (both hires together)

• $85 per person per visit
• Average time on site: 1.5-2 hours per person
• Effective hourly: roughly $43
• 57/hr
• Extra paid visit on top of your regular schedule

BACKUP SHIFTS

— extra paid visits Each hire covers the other's service when they can't make it, at that service's pay — $60 for a store visit, $70 for a window visit. If the call comes with less than 12 hours' notice, you get 1.5x. Take it when you can, no penalty when you can't. Window scrubber/squeegee experience is required for the window spot; for the store spot it's a plus but not required. Pay lands 24-48 hours after the job is completed, checked out, and confirmed to manager satisfaction. Check-in, photos, and check-out are done through links we provide.

Parking:

reimbursed only with a receipt showing date, time in, time out, place, and total price.

THE WORK

Store Clean (weekly): dusting fixtures, shelving, and displays, spot cleaning doors and glass, vacuuming and mopping floors, cleaning and restocking the restroom, trash out. Detailed checklist provided after onboarding. Windows (monthly): first-level storefront glass, interior and exterior — 4 large panels (roughly 10-12 ft high), the double entry doors, and the sign glass above the doors. Scrub the full glass with an applicator, squeegee it off, detail all edges and corners, wipe sills dry. Extension pole handles the tops — no climbing. Detailed checklist provided after onboarding. Deep Clean (semi-annual): full top-to-bottom detail of the store, both cleaners together.

Service happens on the agreed day, every time. Any schedule change needs 48 hours' notice. No-shows are the one thing that ends this relationship — if you can't make it, you tell us ahead of time, period.

REQUIREMENTS

• 21 or older
• Reliable personal transportation (rideshare/transit does not qualify)
• Prior cleaning experience of any kind
• Window Cleaner spot: real experience with a window scrubber and squeegee — spray-and-towel doesn't count
• Comfortable completing a standard onboarding screening
• Communication is the #1 priority — respond to messages, show up, speak up early if something changes

SUPPLIES

The store provides restroom/breakroom consumables. All cleaning supplies are already at the store — nothing to buy, nothing to haul. If you'd rather use your own gear, that's up to you.

DRESS CODE

Slip-resistant shoes recommended. Clean plain blue or black shirt, jeans or non-athletic shorts — nothing ripped, no sweatpants. Hair tied back, arrive presentable.

PHOTOS & CHECK-OUT

Before/after photos every visit through your check-in link — this is how you get paid. More is always better.
