Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal to uphold cleanliness standards. Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and polishing machines with precision and care. Handle chemical agents safely by following proper procedures for storage, mixing, application, and disposal to ensure a safe working environment. Conduct detailed sanitation procedures for restrooms, kitchens, and high-touch surfaces to promote health and hygiene. Execute floor care tasks including buffing, polishing, stripping, sealing, and waxing to preserve flooring integrity. Assist with facilities maintenance activities such as minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and general upkeep to support overall building operations. Adhere strictly to safety protocols during all tasks, including heavy lifting using safe lifting practices to prevent injuries. Skills Proven experience in commercial or residential cleaning with a strong understanding of janitorial processes. Skilled in the use of various cleaning equipment and tools including floor buffers and custodial supplies. Knowledge of chemical handling safety procedures and sanitation standards to ensure compliance with health regulations. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper manual handling techniques. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients or building occupants. Experience in facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting enhances your versatility on the job site. Strong adherence to safety protocols combined with a proactive approach to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
