We are currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Facility Laborer / Cleaner to help keep our facility safe, clean, and operating at its best. Position Overview As a Facility Laborer / Cleaner, you will play a vital role in supporting daily warehouse operations by maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free facility. This position combines sanitation duties, general labor, and basic facility maintenance to ensure a safe and efficient workplace for all team members. Key Responsibilities Facility Cleaning & Sanitation Sweep, dust, mop, and maintain warehouse floors, aisles, and loading docks. Clean and sanitize breakrooms, restrooms, offices, and other common areas. Maintain cleanliness standards throughout the facility. Waste & Recycling Management Empty trash receptacles and manage waste disposal. Sort and process recyclable materials. Operate cardboard compactors and balers safely. Clean up spills, packaging materials, and other warehouse debris promptly. General Labor Support Break down boxes and packaging materials. Organize pallets and maintain clear walkways. Assist with moving inventory and materials as needed. Support unloading shipments when additional assistance is required. Safety & Compliance Identify and address potential safety hazards immediately. Keep emergency exits and work areas clear and accessible. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Handle cleaning products and equipment safely and responsibly. Basic Facility Maintenance Perform minor maintenance and repair tasks when needed. Report facility issues that require additional attention. Help ensure the building remains safe, functional, and well-maintained. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical labor throughout an 8+ hour shift. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Reliable transportation and excellent attendance record. Previous warehouse, janitorial, cleaning, or general labor experience is preferred but not required. Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures. Why Join Winnesota?
