Duties include routine cleaning such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, cleaning and restocking restrooms, emptying wastebaskets and taking garbage to the dumpster, and airing out the building; changing light bulbs within standing reach; ordering or requesting routine custodial supplies within the maintenance budget; and completing one rotating deep-cleaning task each month. Work hours are flexible and will need to be scheduled around church activities. Responsibilities Dust, sweep, vacuum, and perform routine cleaning throughout the building. Clean and restock restrooms with toilet paper, soap, and paper towels. Empty wastebaskets, replace liners as needed, and take garbage to the dumpster. Change light bulbs within standing reach. Monitor custodial supplies and order or request supplies as needed within the maintenance budget. Complete one rotating deep-cleaning task each month, such as windows, cobwebs, corners, or stain removal. Experience Familiarity with basic cleaning products, equipment, and safe cleaning practices. Experience working independently and managing a small amount of work within a flexible weekly schedule.
