Position:
(Purpose of the Position): Zamboni Driver/Ice Arena Attendant - Resurface the ice between users, and ensure all users make it to locker rooms as assigned, hand out skates during open skates, and general cleaning and upkeep of the arena.
Transferable Skills:
Customer Service, Time Management, Equipment Operation Duties and Responsibilities:
Keep the schedule on time while performing resurfaces, make sure all users have necessary tools(nets, pads, skill tools, cones, etc); Assist customers with finding locker rooms, getting skates during open skate, and game day duties (moving nets, extracting water from post holes, shoveling)
Qualifications:
(Education/Experience/Skills) Must have a valid drivers license.
Physical and Environmental Factors:
This position requires crouching, stooping, twisting/pivoting, grasping/handling, pushing/pulling, lifting objects up to 50 lbs., driving, and operating equipment or machinery to perform the essential functions. It also requires exposure to loud noise, chemical, vibrations, wet or humid conditions indoors, extreme cold, and proximity hazards, as well as rare exposure to respiratory factors and heights or cramped quarters to perform the essential functions. Protective equipment is required to perform some essential functions.
