High school diploma or equivalent Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods of time Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions Availability to work flexible hours Must pass a background check and pre-work screening

Pay Rate/Range:

$22.29/hr.

Compensation/Benefits:

An employee earns one hour of sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked and can earn a maximum of 48 hours each year.

Deadline:

6/30/2027 -- EOE (7/21/2026) Employment is contingent upon completion of a background check and a required pre-work screening.

Job Summary:

The Substitute Custodian will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of assigned areas within the facility. This is a substitute position and the employee will be called upon as needed to fill in for the regular custodian.
