Position:
(Purpose of the Position) Join the fast-paced and ever-changing Advancement division! In the role of Annual Fund Student Office Assistant, you'll learn about what makes a fundraising office tick, gain hands-on experience administrative experience, work alongside crowdfunding and appeal campaigns, assist in student and young alumni engagement opportunities, and partake in professional development opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Work within the St. Olaf Fund as well as division-wide to support operations
  • Assist with communications including proofreading and editing appeals, creating promotional materials, compiling and analyzing email results
  • Collaborate with the St. Olaf Fund and division staff on various office projects including crowdfunding campaigns
  • Research and attend professional development opportunities
  • Grow in knowledge of fundraising and office functions
  • Attend regularly scheduled check-ins with supervisor as well as occasional staff meetings
Qualifications:
(Education/Experience/Skills)
  • Some experience in a professional administrative environment and the ability to complete assigned deliverables in a timely manner
  • Some experience and familiarity working in fundraising/constituent databases (RE NXT), communications platforms (AlumnIQ, Slate), Google Drive functions, and creative software (Canva)
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
