Are you looking to begin a new career involving dogs? Are you ready to learn more about body language, play styles and dog behavior? Are you thinking about going to Vet Tech or Vet assistant school? If you answered yes to any of these, then this is the job for you! Dogtopia has an opening for an energetic, organized, dog loving individual that will be responsible for managing and maintaining a safe playroom environment for our furry friends. This is a fully remodeled facility in Woodbury, MN! We are looking for full and part time career minded long term employees. Job Functions Interact and engage in a multitude of activities with a playroom of dogs, including group sit, follow the leader, and playroom agility Monitor safe play throughout the day with dogs of various sizes Maintain communication with shift leader during playtime Fast pace work environment, constantly moving Work with other team members to maintain a clean and safe environment Daily cleaning of the playroom and facility Job Requirements High level of attentiveness Ability to be on your feet for entire shift- 6 to 7 hours Must have High School Diploma or equivalent Must be able to lift 40 pounds and bend, stoop and lift repeatedly during shift Responsible and reliable Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays Most shifts are 6:30 AM
