Job Description

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring an Environmental Services Worker to join our Environmental Services Department at the Douglas Medical Center in Bolivar, Missouri - someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.

What Your Day Looks Like:
Environmental Services provides a clean, safe environment for patients, employees, and visitors using prescribed methods in a professional, courteous manner. As an Environmental Service Worker, you will be: Cleaning all areas of the hospital by performing routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, operating rooms, waiting rooms, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, and corridors. Ensuring all areas are sanitized according to hospital 7 Step Process Demonstrating the ability to utilize the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedures. Notifying the supervisor of necessary repairs Cleaning up spills with appropriate equipment

Prolong periods of standing and walking; ability to read and write documentation; Exerting 20 to 50 lbs of force occasionally, and/or 10-25 lbs of force frequently.
