Rotating weekends and three (3) holidays per year Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper (Environmental Services Technician) to join our healthcare team. This essential role helps maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff while supporting infection prevention and patient satisfaction initiatives throughout the facility. The ideal candidate takes pride in delivering high-quality housekeeping services, demonstrates a strong commitment to cleanliness and safety, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing of patient rooms, clinical areas, public spaces, and common areas in accordance with hospital standards and infection control protocols. Complete terminal/discharge cleaning of patient rooms to ensure timely room turnover and readiness for new admissions. Set up, stock, and reconfigure patient rooms as needed. Operate and maintain housekeeping equipment to ensure safe and effective performance. Promptly report equipment malfunctions, damaged furnishings, and facility maintenance concerns to leadership. Adhere to all organizational policies, safety guidelines, and sanitation procedures. Deliver exceptional service that contributes to a positive patient and visitor experience. Collaborate effectively with department staff and other healthcare team members to support operational excellence. Qualifications Minimum of one (1) year of housekeeping or Environmental Services (EVS) experience , preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Dependable, professional, and customer-service oriented. Flexibility to work rotating weekends and designated holidays as required. Uniform & Dress Code Employees will be provided with a uniform. During the initial onboarding period, employees should wear black scrubs for the first few weeks if available. If black scrubs are not available, employees should wear all-black attire . Non-slip shoes are required for safety purposes. Crocs and shoes with open toes or open heels are not permitted. Pre-Employment Requirements Qualified candidates must be able to provide the following: Two professional reference letters from a supervisor within the past two years. Successful completion of a drug screening . Current TB test documentation. Proof of required immunizations and/or immunity titers, including: Tdap
