Overview Join our dedicated nighttime cleaning team as a Night Time Janitor and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using commercial cleaning equipment and supplies Handle chemical agents safely for cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, following all safety protocols and procedures. Conduct heavy lifting up to 50 lbs, tasks involving supplies, trash bins, and cleaning equipment while adhering to safe lifting practices. Maintain cleanliness by emptying trash receptacles, restocking supplies, and performing detailed sanitation routines throughout the facility. Utilize custodial experience to identify maintenance needs or hazards and report them promptly for resolution Qualifications Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning techniques. Familiarity with handling chemical agents safely and understanding proper manual handling procedures. Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to ensure all areas are thoroughly cleaned and maintained. Prior porter or facilities maintenance experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform manual tasks throughout the shift.
