Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate cabinet fabrication and installation. Measure, cut, assemble, and install custom cabinets, trim, doors, siding, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools for woodworking. Safely operate woodworking machines such as saws, sanders, drills, and other power tools for precise fabrication. Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment while adhering to power tool safety standards. Collaborate with team members on construction estimating, planning projects from start to finish while interpreting technical drawings accurately. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards for construction site experience. Qualifications Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, carpentry or woodworking within residential or commercial settings. Skilled in using hand tools such as chisels, hammers, screwdrivers along with power tools for woodworking including saws and drills. Knowledge of wood construction materials like plywood, MDF, veneers as well as metal studs and rebar for framing projects. Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately for precise fabrication and installation of cabinetry and fixtures. Strong understanding of power tool safety protocols combined with practical experience operating woodworking machines. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly while maintaining attention to detail in finishing work. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to project challenges in construction or restoration environments.
