•the days are as follows Monday and Thursday from 09:30am until 01:00pm. Plus, Saturdays from 03:00pm until 6:00pm. We also have opportunities to clean throughout the week at nights included. In this vital role, you will be the first line of defense in maintaining a pristine environment, ensuring all areas are clean, sanitized, and well-maintained throughout the day. Your proactive approach and dedication will contribute to a positive experience for everyone who enters our facilities. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your custodial expertise while supporting the overall safety and cleanliness of our spaces. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restocking supplies to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners with precision and care. Handle chemical agents safely by following proper chemical handling safety procedures and safety protocol adherence. Conduct light maintenance duties such as minor repairs, touch-up painting, and ensuring facilities are in optimal condition. Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks while practicing safe lifting practices to prevent injury. Monitor and report any safety hazards or facility issues promptly to ensure a secure environment for staff and visitors. Provide excellent customer service by greeting visitors courteously and responding promptly to cleaning or maintenance requests. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is highly preferred. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, and sanitation tools is essential. Knowledge of chemical handling safety procedures and sanitation standards is required. Experience with facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs or painting is a plus. Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and adhere to safety protocols consistently. Strong customer service skills with a proactive attitude toward maintaining a clean and safe environment. Previous porter experience or background in industrial cleaning enhances your suitability for this role.
