In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for executing sanitation protocols, handling cleaning and laundry tasks, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of patient rooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents. Handle laundry duties efficiently, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens or uniforms while adhering to infection prevention protocols. Safely operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and steam cleaners to maintain high standards of sanitation. Follow strict safety protocols for chemical handling and manual lifting to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, chemical usage, and sanitation procedures in compliance with healthcare or facility regulations. Assist with waste disposal and sanitation procedures to uphold environmental services standards and infection control measures. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to staff requests for cleaning or supply needs while maintaining a positive attitude.
