Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers Handle chemical agents safely, following all chemical handling safety procedures to ensure a secure environment Conduct custodial tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and sanitation of high-touch areas Maintain facilities by performing light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting when necessary Operate cleaning machinery efficiently while adhering to safety protocols for heavy lifting and manual handling Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored, maintained, and replenished as needed Support overall facilities maintenance by assisting with industrial cleaning projects or residential painting tasks when required Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques and equipment use Knowledge of chemical agent handling safety procedures and proper use of cleaning chemicals Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following safe lifting practices Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing, polishing, and maintaining various flooring types Excellent attention to detail with a focus on sanitation standards and safety protocol adherence Strong manual handling skills combined with good physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods Customer service mindset with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in maintaining facility cleanliness This role offers an engaging environment where your skills directly contribute to the comfort and safety of our community.
