This role is essential in ensuring that commercial spaces are kept spotless, sanitized, and well-maintained during overnight hours. As a Night Cleaner, you will be responsible for performing thorough cleaning and custodial tasks across various commercial properties, creating a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. Your energetic approach and commitment to safety will help uphold our high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Duties Execute comprehensive cleaning routines including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors, surfaces, and fixtures using specialized cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers. Handle chemical agents safely by following proper procedures for storage, mixing, application, and disposal to ensure a secure environment. Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting restrooms, kitchens, and high-touch areas with appropriate cleaning agents. Perform custodial duties such as trash removal, restocking supplies, and minor maintenance tasks to support overall facility upkeep. Operate cleaning machinery including floor buffers, polishers, and industrial vacuums with adherence to safety protocols. Conduct manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of equipment or supplies while following safe lifting practices to prevent injury. Document completed tasks accurately in shift reports and communicate any maintenance issues or safety concerns to supervisors promptly. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in a commercial or industrial setting is highly preferred. Familiarity with cleaning techniques for various surfaces and the operation of cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers. Knowledge of chemical handling safety procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations. Experience in facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning is advantageous. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safe practices. Customer service skills are beneficial for interacting professionally with team members or clients when needed.
