A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Staff & Mgmt Must have a Valid State Driver's License High school diploma or equivalent 2 years of supervisory experience in janitorial services, preferably in an aviation or large facility environment. Knowledge of airport security and safety protocols. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Flexible schedule, including availability for nights, weekends, and holidays. Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and best practices. Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.Work Environment:
Fast-paced airport setting, requiring frequent walking and standing. May involve exposure to cleaning chemicals and airport noise. Requires adherence to airport security protocols, including background checks and security clearance Supervise and manage janitorial and administrative staff, including scheduling, training, and performance monitoring. Ensure all cleaning procedures comply with airport safety regulations and industry standards. Oversee daily cleaning operations in terminals, restrooms, lounges, baggage areas, and other airport facilities. Conduct routine inspections to maintain cleanliness and address any issues promptly. Coordinate with airport management and other departments to ensure janitorial needs are met. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper use and storage. Enforce health and safety policies, including proper handling of hazardous materials. Respond to urgent cleaning requests and resolve any customer or passenger complaints regarding cleanliness. Train and mentor janitorial team members, promoting a culture of excellence and efficiency. Maintain records of cleaning schedules, staff attendance, and performance evaluation s.Benefits
