Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment Handle various cleaning tools and machinery safely, including vacuums, mops, Follow strict safety protocols when handling chemical agents to ensure safe usage and storage in compliance with chemical handling safety procedures. Conduct routine custodial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, window washing, and sanitation of high-touch areas to maintain hygiene standards. Assist with light maintenance duties including reporting issues requiring professional attention; may include residential painting or facilities upkeep. Support overall facilities maintenance by performing custodial duties that uphold cleanliness and safety across all areas of the premises. Skills Proven experience in commercial or industrial cleaning environments with strong custodial skills. Knowledge of proper chemical handling safety procedures and sanitation practices to prevent hazards. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and other custodial tools effectively. Physical stamina for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, bending, reaching, and prolonged standing or walking. Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards consistently. Strong understanding of safety protocol adherence to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and others. Customer service skills that enable positive interactions with staff or visitors when needed.
