Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.
We are hiring an experienced Airbnb / vacation rental cleaner to join our 2-person cleaning team in the Oak Island area. Airbnb or short-term vacation rental cleaning experience is required. This is not just a basic housecleaning position. Our properties must be cleaned, staged, and completely guest-ready before every check-in. We need someone who understands that the small details can make the difference between a good stay and a 5-star review. Our 2-person teams typically turn 3-4 vacation rental homes per day, so you must be able to work quickly and efficiently while still paying close attention to detail. Responsibilities Complete Airbnb and vacation rental turnovers Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas to guest-ready standards Make beds neatly and professionally Stage each home according to property standards Arrange pillows, towels, décor, and guest items appropriately Ensure furniture and household items are returned to their proper places Check for hair, fingerprints, dust, crumbs, streaks, and other easily missed details Restock and properly place guest supplies Check the home for damage, missing items, or maintenance concerns Perform a final walkthrough before leaving Work efficiently with another cleaner to complete 3-4 homes per day What We're Looking For Airbnb, VRBO, vacation rental, or short-term rental cleaning experience Experience staging vacation rentals for incoming guests Exceptional attention to detail Fast-paced and able to stay on schedule Understands the importance of presentation and consistency Dependable and punctual Able to follow property-specific instructions Professional and respectful in clients' homes Reliable transportation Able to work well as part of a 2-person team Pay $18.00-$20.00 per hour, depending on Airbnb/vacation rental cleaning experience. We are looking for someone who understands that a turnover isn't finished just because the house is clean. The property needs to look inviting, organized, professionally staged, and ready for the next guest to walk through the door.
