We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Venue Attendant. This position is responsible for setup and breakdown, venue cleanliness, and keeping the bar stocked during events. Close attention to detail and accuracy in setups is an essential skill for this role. As a member of our team, you'll be responsible for upholding our standards of guest service, public health, and safety. This position requires considerable physical activity on a continuous basis throughout the shift. Hours + Compensation

Required Availability:

At least one 6-8 hour shift during the day on either Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday

•Nights + weekend hours vary by seasonality and event schedule. An average shift may be 8-10 hours, 1-2 days/week. Availability for nights and weekends is required. The hourly rate for this position is $20. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Maintain venue exterior, including lawn care, landscaping, and outdoor cleaning; perform minor repairs and report larger maintenance issues Clean and maintain event-related equipment and machines, including dishwashers and AV equipment; report malfunctions Keep staff areas, storage rooms, restrooms, and kitchens clean and organized; sanitize high-traffic areas Receive and organize deliveries; track inventory and notify when supplies need to be restocked Perform regular touch-up painting to maintain venue appearance Event setup and breakdown of bar furniture, including chairs, tables, etc. Ensure facilities are continuously cleaned and waste bins are emptied Assist in bar setup and breakdown, restocking, and bar operations Stock restrooms with amenities and proper supplies/paper products Monitor and address any spills or potential hazards during an event Qualifications & Requirements Knowledge of banquet equipment, table and linen sizes, etc., preferred Punctuality, reliability, and exceptional work ethic are a must Effective communication skills, problem-solving, and the ability to interpret direction Follow direction safely and effectively Attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and within time constraints Ability to use basic hand tools and basic portable power tools as applicable Flexibility to work varying hours, evenings, and weekends Ability to read, write, and speak sufficient English Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language High school diploma/GED equivalent required Must be 18 years of age or older Physical Demands Ability to lift and move multiple tables, chairs, and podiums weighing up to 80 lbs. through a crowded room and the ability to grasp, lift, carry, or otherwise move or push goods on a hand cart/truck weighing a maximum of 1,800 lbs. Ability to stand for long periods of time, climb ladders, bend, and lift heavy objects Ability to continually reach with hands/fingers/arms during the shift Occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching during the shift Occasionally encounter toxic chemicals used for cleaning
