A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description

We are looking for a General Cleaner to clean commercial facilities on 1st and 2nd shift rotating. The goal is to keep our building in a clean and orderly condition. Responsibilities Clean designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, etc.) Notify management of occurring deficiencies and/or needed repairs Stock paper supplies and soap dispensers Maintain clean supply room and/or janitors closet Cooperate with the rest of the staff Follow all health and safety regulations Skills Proven working experience as a cleaner Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets Integrity High school degree

Pay:

$10.00 - $12.00 per hour
