Summary As a School Custodian, you will be essential in maintaining a clean and safe environment for students and staff. Reporting to the Operations Manager, your core responsibilities will include cleaning, floor care, and general custodial duties. This person will be one part of a team of three custodians that work in designated areas to clean and maintain the school building and grounds. Your experience in commercial cleaning and janitorial services will ensure that all areas are well-maintained. Additionally, your relevant skills in facilities maintenance and buffing will enhance the overall appearance of the school. Qualifications Proven experience in custodial and janitorial roles Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment Strong skills in commercial cleaning and floor care Familiarity with facilities maintenance and industrial cleaning Experience in painting Strong, independent work ethic Proven track record of consistent work attendance Prompt communication and response to custodial needs

PREFERRED

Experience making minor repairs (ie drywall anchors, furniture assembly, etc) Hours and Schedule The hours of this position are 10:30AM-7:00PM during the school year. Hours may be adjusted when school is out of session. This is a 12 month position
