Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Janitorial Commercial Cleaning Supervisor to lead our cleaning teams. In this role, you will assist the Account Manager in overseeing daily cleaning operations across various commercial sites, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety. Your leadership will motivate staff, manage schedules, and uphold our commitment to excellence in janitorial services. Duties Supervise and coordinate cleaning activities for about 45 frontline janitorial staff members in 15 buildings in the Forsyth County area of North Carolina assisting the Account Manager. Total Sq. Footage is around 800,000. Primarily an evening position but some daytime work is required as needed. Most staff work Mon-Fri 8pm-11pm/12am and 6-7 day porters work 10am-2pm or 3pm. We provide evening day porter coverage in 2 buildings each weekend with more as needed coverage; some weekend work may be required. Recruit, hire, train, and mentor cleaning staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service expectations. Manage work schedules to ensure timely completion of cleaning tasks while optimizing team productivity. Conduct quality inspections to verify cleanliness standards are met consistently across all sites. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and storage. Address client concerns promptly and professionally to uphold customer satisfaction. Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations during all cleaning operations. Requirements Ability to pass a background check and valid drivers license. Position involves operation of truck for hauling trash and moving supplies to buildings. Proven supervising experience in janitorial or custodial services within commercial or hospitality environments. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures. Management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team effectively. Familiarity with hotel or hospitality housekeeping management is advantageous.
