Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, floor buffers, and other tools efficiently and safely. Handle laundry tasks for residential clients or commercial linen services as needed. Use appropriate cleaning detergents and supplies to ensure surfaces are cleaned effectively while maintaining safety protocols. Implement proper manual handling techniques when lifting heavy furniture or equipment to prevent injury. Maintain outdoor work areas by sweeping entrances, cleaning outdoor furniture, and managing debris in accordance with sanitation standards. Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service. Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled periods while maintaining quality standards. Ensure all cleaning procedures adhere to health and safety regulations related to sanitation and infection control. Requirements Proven experience in residential cleaning, commercial janitorial work, or custodial roles is preferred. Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation procedures. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and laundry machines. Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and perform manual handling tasks efficiently. Strong attention to detail with excellent dusting, surface sanitation, and overall cleanliness skills. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their needs. Time management skills that enable you to prioritize tasks effectively across multiple sites. Physical stamina for long periods of standing, walking, bending, and manual labor during shifts. Valid knowledge of cleaning detergents and chemicals along with proper handling procedures for safety compliance.
