Part-Time Morning Custodian Northlands Rescue Mission | Grand Forks, ND Northlands Rescue Mission is looking for a dependable Part-Time Morning Custodian to help keep our shelter clean, safe, and welcoming for the people we serve. This position is a great fit for someone who takes pride in their work, can work independently, and doesn't mind staying busy. Schedule Part-time morning hours, Monday through Friday. Approximately 20 hours per week. What You'll Do Clean and sanitize bathrooms, common areas, offices, hallways, and other areas of the shelter Sweep, mop, vacuum, and take out garbage Clean and disinfect high-touch areas Restock paper products, soap, and cleaning supplies Help maintain a clean and safe environment throughout the building Report maintenance or safety concerns when noticed Assist with occasional deeper cleaning projects Work respectfully around shelter clients, staff, volunteers, and community members What We're Looking For Dependable and able to consistently arrive on time Comfortable working independently Able to stay organized and complete assigned cleaning tasks Able to lift, bend, stand, and move throughout the shift Previous custodial or cleaning experience is helpful, but not required Must be respectful and comfortable working in a homeless shelter environment At Northlands Rescue Mission, our work is about more than keeping a building clean.
