A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

2:00pm-10:30pm M-F What's the Job? Perform daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, restroom cleaning, trash removal, and stocking supplies. Receive, unpack, and organize cleaning and facility supplies. Assist with office moves, relocations, and cubicle assembly/disassembly. Perform general building maintenance including light electrical work, minor plumbing, and light replacement. Support interior and exterior facility upkeep, recycling efforts, and general building operations. What's Needed? High school diploma or GED required. 0-2 years of related janitorial, maintenance, or facilities experience. Ability to lift 50-100 pounds safely. Experience working with industrial equipment and performing basic preventative maintenance. Strong attendance record, positive attitude, and knowledge of basic manual work techniques.
