As a Facility Janitor, you will play a vital role in ensuring our buildings and grounds are kept in excellent condition. This position is essential to the smooth operation of our facility, supporting both staff and visitors by providing a clean and orderly workspace. Responsibilities Clean and maintain building interiors, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming floors, as well as washing windows and walls. Service, clean, and restock restrooms; gather and empty trash throughout the facility. Perform heavy cleaning duties such as shampooing rugs and removing rubbish. Operate motorized equipment to remove snow and debris from parking lots, yards, and walkways; apply sand as needed to maintain safe surfaces. Perform basic maintenance tasks and notify supervisors of any major repairs or issues with building systems. Requisition cleaning supplies and equipment as needed for daily operations. Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements. Maintain accurate and complete required paperwork. Work effectively with co-workers in a team environment. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor to support facility operations. Qualifications Ability to read, comprehend, and accurately complete required paperwork. Physical ability to stand, move, bend, stretch, lift, twist, and reach for extended periods. Good coordination and attention to detail for safe equipment operation and cleaning tasks. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Offered compensation:
$16/hr
