Our job is an evening position Monday-Friday no weekends. It is 3 hours a night, starting at 5:00 pm and ending at 8:00 pm, it is 15 hours per week. It is a part time job in Plymouth NH. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents. Handle custodial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and floor buffing to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Operate cleaning machinery including floor buffers and other commercial cleaning tools safely and effectively. Follow all safety protocols related to chemical handling and manual lifting to prevent accidents or injuries. Maintain sanitation standards by properly storing cleaning supplies and disposing of waste according to safety procedures. Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report issues promptly. Assist with light maintenance tasks such as residential painting or minor repairs when necessary, supporting overall facilities upkeep. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is preferred. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and commercial cleaning tools is highly desirable. Knowledge of chemical handling safety procedures and sanitation practices is essential. Experience with heavy lifting and safe lifting practices ensures efficiency and injury prevention. Customer service skills are beneficial for interacting professionally with staff or visitors when needed. Previous experience in facilities maintenance or porter roles will be considered an asset.
