Operate various cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and industrial scrubbers to ensure floors and surfaces are pristine. Handle chemical agents safely, following all chemical handling safety procedures to prevent accidents or contamination. Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling tasks to move equipment, furniture, or debris in accordance with safe lifting practices. Maintain high standards of sanitation across all areas, including restrooms, kitchens, hallways, and common spaces. Follow strict safety protocols during cleaning operations to ensure personal safety and compliance with facility regulations. Collaborate with project managers and facilities teams to address specific cleaning needs during the final phases of construction projects. Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience, preferably in commercial or industrial settings. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment operation (including floor buffers), and sanitation standards. Experience handling chemical agents safely and understanding chemical handling safety procedures. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks while adhering to safe lifting practices. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness in cleaning processes. Good communication skills with a customer service-oriented attitude when interacting with team members or clients. Knowledge of facilities maintenance and general custodial responsibilities is highly preferred.
