A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

SERVICE / JANITORIAL POSITION SUMMARY

This is a combined position for

COOK AND CUSTODIAN. COOK

- This position prepares, seasons, and cooks a wide variety of meats, vegetables, soups and other food items in large quantities and in accordance with program and funding agency requirements.

CUSTODIAN

- Cleans and maintains premises and building. Position may involve the reassignment to various locations as deemed necessary for business operations.

REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

COOK 18 years or older. Related experience preferred. Bilingual Spanish / English or Navajo / English helpful.

CUSTODIAN 18

years or older. Related experience preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Navajo helpful.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Have or be able to obtain First Aid and BLS/CPR certifications within 30 days of hire. Certifications must meet the requirements listed in the document "

BLS / CPR / ACLS

& First Aid Training Resources" posted on Staurolite. It is your responsibility to keep your certifications current at all times.

SCREENING REQUIREMENTS

This position requires successful completion of an initial post-offer of employment Criminal Records Check.

DRIVING REQUIREMENTS

Travel by automobile may be required when duties are carried out at multiple sites. If so, employee must comply with the driving requirements and sign the Driver Duties Job Description Addendum. $100 EMPLOYEE
