Job Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as an Automotive Sales Porter, where your energetic attitude and exceptional customer service skills will help create a seamless and welcoming experience for our guests. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for customers arriving at the dealership, assisting with vehicle movement, parking, and delivery. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will contribute to a positive environment that encourages customer satisfaction and loyalty. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in automotive operations and guest services while working in a fast-paced, outdoor setting. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with vehicle parking, ensuring efficient use of dealership parking areas. Safely operate standard passenger vehicles, including manual transmission models, to move cars between lots, service areas, and delivery points. Assist with the delivery and pickup of vehicles for customers, ensuring proper handling and documentation. Perform heavy lifting tasks such as moving tires, accessories, or other dealership equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of outdoor work areas, including parking lots and vehicle staging zones. Communicate effectively with team members and customers to coordinate vehicle movements and provide excellent guest services. Experience Prior experience in dealership operations or automotive service environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Proven ability to operate standard passenger vehicles with manual transmissions confidently. Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in multiple languages (bilingual abilities are a plus). Familiarity with cash handling, retail math, or cashiering processes enhances efficiency in transaction processing. Previous roles involving heavy lifting or outdoor work demonstrate physical stamina necessary for this position. Delivery driver experience or hospitality background can provide valuable skills for guest interactions and vehicle handling.
