What they do
A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Founded in 1966, Burchfield Penney has a remarkable history and is a crucial member of the Buffalo cultural community. Our building is a stunning 80K square-foot museum with programs and art exhibitions that change throughout the year.
