//villaroma.com/ Open Position Bar Porter The Villa Roma is a year-round resort with multiple dining venues & bars with a variety of styles. Bar porters have a vital role assisting in the seamless operations of these areas. Responsibilities may include setting up the bar area, ensuring that it is clean and well-maintained, assisting with inventory management, supporting the bartenders and waitstaff, assisting with stock replenishment and ordering, greeting and serving customers, and handling cash and credit card transactions. Fast-paced environment Must work well under pressure Must be able to handle multiple tasks at once Must be able to manage the physical demands of the position, requiring several hours of standing, walking, and carrying heavy objects. Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds. Other physical requirements may include the ability to climb stairs, reach high shelves, and bend or stoop repeatedly. Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is preferred, but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to perform basic math calculations for order totals and cash handling Excellent guest relations skills, with a focus on providing exceptional service Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of proper sanitation practices for food handling and dining areas
