Per diem, weekend availability, evening/nights Provides the highest level of disinfection & cleaning (terminal cleaning) for operating rooms, OB operating room, Angio procedure room & APC procedure rooms. Also, the OR Technician maintains a pleasant and safe environment for patients, residents, visitors, and staff. Complies with all regulatory requirements of JACHO, State Health Department and other regulatory agencies.

Required Job Specific Competencies:

Demonstrates skill in cleaning/disinfecting a variety of rooms used for patient care and treatment. Strictly & consistently follows procedures for highest levels of disinfection that is required in operating rooms, scrub & sterile areas & surrounding non-sterile spaces. Is knowledgeable of procedures for cleaning, disinfecting, infection control, and safety. Is able to work with minimal supervision. Is able to organize cleaning duties and prioritize work to complete assignments in an efficient manner. Maintains collaborative working relationships with nursing and other departments. Actively guards the confidentiality of sensitive information including but not limited to the patients, staff and the health system.

Qualifications:

Ability to follow written and verbal instruction. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Prefer 2 to 5 years of relative work experience.

Pay Range:

$18.40 - $20.50/hr
