A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description

Operations Porter Job Description Job Summary:
The porter makes sure that buildings are in clean and functioning order. Acts cleaning and maintenance person and ensure facility is kept to company standards. The position requires sweeping and mopping of warehouse, cleaning bathrooms and maintaining cleaning supplies inventory. May require minor repairs such as fixing leaky faucets or changing bulbs.

OT Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Clean in accordance with daily porter check list Check par numbers for all cleaning and maintenance materials Maintain functionality of cleaning and facilities equipment Alert Operations Manager or Supervisor to any material or equipment needs Minor facility repair and maintenance (light bulbs, painting, grease traps, etc) Perform various other tasks as assigned by Operations Manager and/or
Director of Operations Position Requirements:
Professional work ethic and demeanor Effective communication skills and ability to work with all levels of management Ability to work in a clean, organized, and efficient manner Ability to meet physical requirements such as standing for long periods of time and walking throughout the day Ability to lift 20+ pounds
