Custodian

Our client, a dedicated organization committed to maintaining safe and welcoming facilities, is seeking a Custodian to join their team. As a Custodian, you will be an essential part of the Facilities Support team supporting the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, strong communication skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

• 5:00 PM What's the Job?

Perform a variety of custodial duties to ensure the cleanliness and safety of the facilities Maintain and organize warehouse areas, assisting with donation pickups and transportation Assist donors by safely transporting donations and providing receipts Conduct routine cleaning and maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, and trash removal Support safety inspections and report any mechanical or safety issues promptly Driving clients to other locations as needed Learning to operator Forklift/ Hi-lo to assist with unloading deliveries What's Needed? 1 year of Custodial experience Valid New York State Driver's License Willingness to be trained in specialized equipment such as Hi-lo and forklift Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and safety What's in it for me?
