In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring all areas of the gym are spotless, sanitized, and well-maintained. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will help create an inspiring space where members feel comfortable and motivated to achieve their fitness goals. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of gym facilities, including workout areas, locker rooms, showers, restrooms, and common spaces Sanitize all surfaces regularly to uphold health and safety standards Sweep, mop, vacuum, and buff floors to maintain a spotless appearance Remove trash and recyclables from designated bins throughout the facility Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards Assist with light custodial tasks such as replenishing supplies and ensuring cleanliness of high-touch areas Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures consistently Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing floors Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple cleaning tasks efficiently Basic understanding of facilities maintenance and industrial cleaning practices Join us as a Gym Cleaner and play a key role in fostering a positive environment that motivates members on their fitness journeys.
