Then we are your place! Justin's Canine Campus offers dog daycare, grooming, and training. We are interviewing for a Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team in our brand new facility! This part time position is available effective immediately for approximately 28-30 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours to cover for vacations. This is a permanent position and seasonal applicants will not be considered. This position will have a primary schedule on the closing shift, but applicants will need to have flexible schedule availability as shifts may vary to include opening (starts at 6:30am) and closing (ending at 6:00pm). Our facility is open Monday-Friday so employees have their weekends free! Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and must be able to: stand and walk for most or all of a shift, lift an average of 50 pounds, be outdoors in all types of weather, tolerate a loud, active, fast-paced environment, be able to handle LOTS of cleaning...and must love dogs! Daycare Attendants are responsible for supervising large groups of dogs (including cleaning up after their various body fluids), interacting with clients, and daily deep cleaning of the playrooms and facility. This is a great opportunity to learn about the behavior of dogs and spend your days soaking up their affection! Our team is a close-knit group who love their job and is an excellent group of people to work with! Our business hours will allow you to have your evenings and weekends free! This is an entry level position; no experience is necessary as all training will be done on site. Starting pay is $17.00/hour during the initial 30 day training period when new employees are shadowing teammates. With a positive performance review, new hires receive a wage increase after completing their training period. We provide annual wage increases and opportunities for bonuses/tips throughout the year, as well as, Paid Time Off after 6 months of employment, discounts on retail items, the opportunity to apprentice in our obedience training program, and a retirement plan. We provide flexible scheduling for our team for a positive work/life balance, and in return, we have high expectations for reliability to be on-time and arrive for shifts.
