About the Role Shield Pharmaceuticals Corp. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to join our team in Ronkonkoma. In this part-time role, you will be essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout our facility. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and has hands-on experience with professional cleaning equipment. Key Responsibilities Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing various areas of the facility (offices, restrooms, breakrooms, etc.). Operate and maintain heavy-duty cleaning equipment, including floor buffers and carpet extractors, to maintain flooring standards. Use pressure washers for designated exterior or industrial cleaning tasks. Vacuum carpets and rugs across the premises. Clean interior and exterior glass using professional window cleaning tools. Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper waste disposal. Strictly follow safety protocols and maintain a secure, compliant working environment suitable for a pharmaceutical setting. Keep cleaning supply rooms organized and notify management when supplies need restocking. Requirements & Qualifications Previous experience in commercial cleaning, custodial work, or a similar role is highly preferred. Vacuum cleaners Pressure washers Floor buffers Window cleaning tools Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment, bend, reach, and stand for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Reliable, punctual, and available to work 20-25 hours per week.
