Job Description

Morning Janitor / School Support Team Member This position combines janitorial duties with assisting staff by serving food to students and helping with cleanup to maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for students and staff. English or Spanish speaker preferred. Schedule Monday -
Friday:
8:30 AM - 4:30 PM Responsibilities Perform daily cleaning of classrooms, bathrooms, offices, hallways, lobby, gym, kitchen, and common areas. Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize floors and surfaces. Empty trash and replace liners throughout the building. Restock restroom and classroom supplies. Serve food to students and assist with meal cleanup. Clean and sanitize classrooms and bathrooms throughout the day. Organize classrooms, toys, food carts, and common areas. Help maintain the kitchen and food service areas. Keep the building entrance and outdoor areas clean and free of litter. Complete weekly deep cleaning tasks as assigned. Qualifications Previous janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience preferred. Food service experience is a plus, but not required. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Strong attention to detail and organization. Able to lift up to 35 pounds and perform physical cleaning tasks. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
