You will be responsible for executing a wide range of cleaning tasks with precision and efficiency, ensuring that every area meets high standards of cleanliness and safety. Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness across all areas. Handle floor scrubbing, waxing, buffing, and refinishing to restore floors to their optimal condition. Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, polishers, carpet extractors, and other janitorial tools safely and effectively. Manage the application of floor care products including floor cleaning chemicals, waxes, and sealants to ensure durable finishes. Conduct detailed carpet cleaning and stain removal using appropriate methods and chemical agents. Handle chemical agents responsibly by following safety protocols for storage, mixing, and disposal to ensure environmental compliance. Assist with manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of equipment or supplies while adhering to proper ergonomic practices. Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, supplies used, and safety inspections for accountability. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to client requests and ensuring their satisfaction with the cleaning standards. Support environmental services initiatives by using eco-friendly products and sustainable practices whenever possible. Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures. Familiarity with floor care techniques including scrubbing, waxing, buffing, refinishing, and carpet cleaning. Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and efficiently. Knowledge of chemical agent handling procedures with an emphasis on safety and environmental responsibility. Physical stamina for manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting, prolonged standing, bending, and walking throughout shifts. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work standards. Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards clients and team members. Ability to follow safety protocols diligently while working with cleaning chemicals and equipment. Must be able to pass a FBI and BCI Background check.
