A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description

Job is 3rd Shift. Sunday-Thursday 10PM-6:30AM We're looking for a dependable Technician to support MPW operations by performing hands-on industrial cleaning and labor support tasks. This role plays a key part in maintaining safe, efficient, and high-quality work environments across job sites. What You'll Bring Strong work ethic

  • maintains clean, organized work areas and ensures quality and accuracy in all assigned duties What You'll Do Arrive at assigned job sites on time and maintain a professional, respectful attitude toward coworkers and customers Perform industrial cleaning and labor support tasks as directed by team leaders, supervisors, or account managers Operate manual tools and production-related equipment safely and efficiently to support job completion Monitor work processes to ensure quality standards and operational efficiency are consistently met Identify and report equipment issues, safety concerns, or process problems to the team leader immediately Maintain work areas, equipment, and break spaces in a clean, organized, and safe condition at all times Complete required daily documentation, including shift summaries, logs, and inventory reports as requested Assist with on-the-job training and support onboarding of new employees or transferred team members Follow all company policies, employee handbook guidelines, and supervisor instructions Adhere to OSHA regulations and MPW safety standards in all work activities Communicate job progress, issues, and updates clearly to supervisors and team members Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational needs What You'll Need High school diploma or equivalent preferred; some high school education acceptable Basic understanding of mechanical concepts and equipment operation in an industrial or manufacturing environment preferred Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, both verbally and in writing Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds regularly and perform continuous physical labor throughout 8-12 hour shifts Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces, at varying heights, and in industrial environments with exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and weather conditions; must be able to wear required PPE including respirators Ability to travel to job sites as needed, including out-of-state assignments for extended periods, and work flexible schedules including overtime, weekends, and extended shifts Benefits and Perks Competitive pay and career growth opportunities Medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with company match Time off and floating holidays Volunteer Time Off (VTO) to give back to your community Employee referral bonus program Wellness benefits that support your overall health and well-being Opportunities for training and professional development Supportive and collaborative team environment Stable company with long-term career opportunities Who Thrives Here Individuals who value meaningful work and enjoy being part of a supportive, team-oriented environment take initiative, communicate clearly, and continuously look for ways to improve processes and service, while understanding that great results come from collaboration, accountability, and a shared commitment to doing things the right way.
