This vital role ensures that all areas are kept in pristine condition, creating a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and clients alike. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to upholding high standards of sanitation and maintenance throughout their shift. Your efforts will directly contribute to a positive and professional atmosphere within our facility. This positions has two first shift positions, and one second shift position. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation to ensure a spotless environment. Handle various cleaning agents and chemicals safely, following all chemical handling safety procedures. Operate custodial equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners to maintain floors and surfaces in top condition. Monitor the cleanliness of common areas, hallways, restrooms, and entry points consistently throughout the shift. Respond promptly to facility maintenance needs or spills to prevent hazards and ensure continuous safety compliance. Qualifications Prior janitorial or custodial experience is preferred; familiarity with commercial cleaning standards is highly advantageous. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care including buffing and polishing, and sanitation procedures. Experience handling chemical agents safely and understanding chemical safety procedures. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and follow safety protocol adherence at all times. Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards staff and visitors.
