Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description

Olentangy Schools is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time Head Custodian position available at Freedom Trail Elementary School. This position will maintain a clean and healthy school environment; responsible for the proper care and general maintenance of school buildings and their contents; follow all safety requirements and report safety concerns to supervisor; lead, direct, and supervise custodial staff; maintain appropriate inventory. Qualified candidates must hold or be eligible to hold a valid and appropriate licensure for each position with the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce.

Classified, 260-day employment contract Qualifications for the position include: High school diploma or equivalent Valid Ohio driver's license Alternative to the above qualifications as Superintendent and/or Board of Education may find appropriate Internal candidates (currently employed by Olentangy Schools) must submit an internal online application in Applicant Tracking (SchoolSpring).

NOTE:
