Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal to maintain cleanliness throughout the facility Handle cleaning equipment such as scrubbers, and vacuums with proper safety protocols Conduct detailed sanitation of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure compliance with health standards Manage chemical agents safely by following handling safety procedures and proper storage guidelines Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of supplies, furniture, or equipment using safe lifting practices Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and floor care techniques to ensure a professional appearance Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs or reporting facility issues for repair Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and custodial equipment operation Ability to handle chemical agents safely following safety protocol adherence Experience with floor buffers, floor care, and general facilities maintenance is preferred Strong manual handling skills with an emphasis on safe lifting practices and heavy lifting capabilities Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness Embark on a rewarding journey where your dedication transforms spaces into pristine environments.
