A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
The Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities has an excellent opportunity for a Custodian . Candidate chosen must be dependable, will work 8 hours daily and will be subject to shift assignment. Responsibilities include daily custodial duties involved in maintaining a clean building including, but not limited to: scrubbing, mopping, waxing and polishing floors, cleaning windows, fixtures, walls and furniture; cleaning and disinfecting, including but not limited to: toilets, restrooms and drinking fountains, as well as assist with snow removal. Must possess the necessary computer skills to effectively track and report daily tasks through the use of an iPad or PC. Full-time, 12-month hourly wage starts at $19.16. Candidates must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test, physical, Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation (BCII), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and abuser registry background check.
