Conduct heavy lifting tasks using safe lifting practices when moving furniture, supplies, or equipment. Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting surfaces and waste disposal areas regularly. Operate custodial equipment including vacuums, and cleaning tools to ensure optimal cleanliness. Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting issues requiring professional attention. Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience with a strong understanding of commercial or industrial cleaning procedures. Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and sanitation practices. Experience handling chemical agents safely and adhering to chemical handling safety procedures. Ability to perform manual handling tasks and heavy lifting while maintaining safe lifting practices. Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when needed.
