The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas. Maintain floors through buffing and floor care techniques to ensure they are clean and well-presented. Conduct commercial cleaning duties in various facilities, ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs and upkeep. Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts to promote sustainability within the facility. Respond promptly to requests for cleaning services or maintenance issues from staff or management. Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly after use. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and maintain a positive work environment. Experience Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus. Skills in buffing, floor care, industrial cleaning, or residential painting are advantageous. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions effectively.
