Second Shift Responsibilities & Requirements:
The Environmental Services Worker II plays a vital role in supporting patient care and safety by ensuring a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment throughout the healthcare facility. This position is responsible for performing cleaning, floor care, and waste management tasks in accordance with infection control and safety standards. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; will consider candidates with relevant experience in lieu of diploma.

Experience in environmental services, housekeeping, or custodial work in a healthcare or similar setting preferred; typically 1-3 months or more.

Annual DOT certification
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with floor care equipment (e.g., buffers, extractors) and hospital cleaning protocols preferred. Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Technician (CHEST) or similar certification preferred.
