Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor with strong experience focused on bathroom cleaning in an industrial environment. Must be capable of ensuring a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of restroom facilities, adhering to health and safety standards, and supporting overall facility upkeep. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help create a safe and comfortable space for staff, visitors, and clients alike. Part-time Monday through Friday 11am-5:00pm. Steel toed shoes are required. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of bathroom facilities, including sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, and floors multiple times during the shift. Restock supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap dispensers, and other hygiene products regularly. Disinfect high-touch surfaces to prevent the spread of germs and maintain sanitation standards. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and buff floors in bathrooms and surrounding areas to ensure cleanliness and safety. Report any maintenance issues or damages in restroom facilities to the appropriate personnel promptly. Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations. Maintain detailed logs of cleaning activities and supply inventory for accountability. Trash removal not only in restroom areas but surrounding areas within the plant. Qualifications Proven experience in janitorial or custodial work, with specific experience in bathroom cleaning and sanitation. Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and disinfecting procedures. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, mops, and related tools. Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards. Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks that require standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment for extended periods.
